Community-Driven Internship Model

Aimed to increase internship opportunities for students in broad majors with less obvious professional pathways, my team at New College leveraged a community-driven model that improved the alignment of community/employer needs with student career interests. This model was applied specifically to internships appropriate for arts and humanities majors, leading the institution to win a national award for internship program best practices.

Campus-Wide Career Readiness Initiative

As part of the Georgia College career center leadership team, I led parts of a strategic plan that implemented a transformative campus-wide career readiness initiative for the liberal arts and sciences bridging across student and academic affairs successfully. This program scaled career readiness across four academic colleges and 40 majors, moving career development from a peripheral service to a compulsory learning outcome.
